Overview
Burning House is a performance-led work conceived as a live action and directed for film. The project exists between live performance and cinematic documentation, developed as a controlled, time-based event rather than a staged photoshoot.
I led the creative direction and full production of the work — shaping the visual language, directing performers, and coordinating filming crew, locations, logistics, and scheduling. I also performed as the central figure within the work, integrating authorship, direction, and embodiment into a single choreographed action.
The work explores domesticity, destruction, exposure, and transformation through the image of a burning structure. It uses fire, water, body, and painted surface as active materials within a temporary live situation.
